When she realizes she is worthy of all you weren’t willing to give her

Time has ran out

She will stop texting you

Leaning on you,

Looking to you for comfort,

Time has ran out

She waited for you to step in and be the man you said you were

She waited patiently for you to follow through on the one thing she asked of you and you said you would do

She waited for you to decide she was worthy of your full time attention and love

And you took her for granted

You let her wait

You let her show you all she would give knowing you couldn’t or wouldn’t reciprocate

And time ran out

It was in your hands to stand with integrity

She knew your every fear, your every scar and that’s why she waited

She was scared too and she felt the fear

And she did it afraid anyways

Because she believed in you

She realized how much she had lost herself & saw that she was starting to return to an old version she fought so hard to heal from

She wanted herself back…

She started on the work of healing and becoming

The same work she asked you to do.

& what she found was a new sense of

Empowerment,

Passion,

Desire &

deep conviction

that showed her she had outgrown

the version of herself that would no longer

allow what was done to her, with you.

And for you, time has ran out.
